Marq Burnett

Marq Burnett is a former sports writer turned business reporter. Burnett is currently an associate editor of national content for American City Business Journals, a position he was promoted to in September 2021. He previously worked as the entertainment reporter for the Nashville Business Journal where he broke news and wrote thoughtful, informative stories about the city’s business community. Burnett moved from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to Nashville in May 2019 after a decade of covering the University of Alabama’s athletic programs as a student and full-time reporter.
