Monica Burton

Monica Burton is the deputy editor at Eater.com, where she manages a team of staff writers and works with them to tell stories about the intersection of food and culture. She also contributes to tentpole packages, such as Eater’s New Guard, and helms the site’s shopping coverage, including producing Eater’s weekly shopping-focused newsletter, Add to Cart. Before joining Eater as an assistant restaurant editor in 2017, Burton worked in media strategy at Time Inc. She studied journalism and French at New York University and is a graduate of the Columbia Publishing Course. She lives in Brooklyn, New York.
