Suzanne Gamboa

Suzanne Gamboa is a senior writer for NBC Latino, a section of NBCNews.com, the national network’s digital site. Shenow  focuses on the Latino community, frequently using Census information on Latinos and others for her stories on the community. She covers Latino politics and has covered Latinos at different levels since the start of her career with The Associated Press in Dallas. Suzanne was an AP correspondent on the Texas-Mexico border, a statehouse correspondent in Austin and worked for 13 years in the AP’s Washington, D.C. bureau covering the Texas congressional delegation, immigration, veterans and ultimately race and ethnicity before joining NBC Latino in 2013. She is now based in San Antonio.
