About a dozen papers have asked about Doonesbury replacement strips

That's according to Sue Roush of Universal Uclick, which syndicates the comic strip. Jim Romenesko reported earlier today that the St. Paul Pioneer Press won't run the strips, which take a satirical look at abortion laws in Texas. Roush said via email that Universal Uclick doesn't "know which ones ultimately decide to run the week or not."
