Arts blogger to San Diego Union-Tribune: 'I'll be taking all my free writing elsewhere'

After laying off art critic Robert Pincus, the San Diego Union-Tribune launched an arts blog and asked for free contributions. Arts prof Katherine Sweetman volunteered, then posted her resignation: "It seems, to me, visual artists should be boycotting the Union Tribune not writing for them -- for free!"
