About 700 members of Buffalo’s black community met with News editor Margaret Sullivan and complained about the paper reporting the criminal pasts of City Grill shooting victims. “What you did to us was you poured salt on the wounds that had not even healed,” said one victim’s mother-in-law. “So, I’m asking — and this is for all the families — we want an apology.”
