Good morning! Here are some career updates from the journalism community:

  • Matt McConico is now news director for WPMT in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Previously, he was news director at KRNV in Reno, Nevada. (Rick Gevers)
  • Yamiche Alcindor will be a reporter at The New York Times. She is a reporter at USA TODAY. (@Yamiche)
  • David Leonhardt will join The New York Times’ opinion section. He is the founder of The Upshot. (Poynter)
  • Jamelle Bouie is now a political analyst at CBS News. He is chief political correspondent for Slate. (CBS News)
