Ramped-Up Resources, New Major Garrett Column Continue Daily Vitalization
WASHINGTON, D.C., June 7, 2011 — National Journal Group announced today that Matthew Cooper has been named Editor of National Journal Daily and charged with continuing the evolution and vitalization of the Daily that began with National Journal’s relaunch last year. Since the relaunch, the Daily’s circulation has increased by 52%. Now, Cooper will lead a ramping up of Daily resources, including more reporters and editors focused on congressional coverage and a new column from esteemed congressional correspondent Major Garrett.
