'Credit bid' ruling expected to boost interest in Philly papers

The top attorney for the Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News says he expects to see bids from at least three investment entities, in addition to a group of local investors assembled by Philadelphia Newspapers CEO Brian Tierney, at the papers' auction. It's scheduled for April 27, but an appeal could delay it for months.
