Rupert Murdoch’s iPad newspaper, The Daily, will be unveiled Wednesday at the Guggenheim in New York, according to Jeremy Peters at The New York Times.

Peters tweeted the news just after 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, noting that Eddy Cue of Apple would be at the event.

Cue is Apple’s vice president of Internet services. Apple CEO Steve Jobs had been expected to attend a previously scheduled event to be held in San Francisco last week, but he has since taken an extended medical leave.
