Ex-Chicago Reader editor revives Daley book project

Geoff Dougherty, who left the Chicago Reader last week, tells Robert Feder he's seeking a publisher for his book on the Daley family. Also, "I’m open to discussions about jobs that would have me managing and editing. And I know my fiancée would kill me if she heard me say this, but there also are some entrepreneurial ventures as things go along if I’m able to jump into, I would love to.”

    From 1999 to 2011, Jim Romenesko maintained the Romenesko page for the Poynter Institute, a Florida-based non-profit school for journalists. Poynter hired him in August of 1999, after seeing his MediaGossip.com, a hobby site he started in May of 1999.
