Ex-Star Tribune publisher advises entrepreneur pursuing Boston Globe

Chris Harte says Aaron Kushner "has some ideas that are brand new to the industry and have a huge amount of potential." The former Star Tribune publisher, who has a long newspaper history, adds: "I was skeptical when I met with him and some of his investors, but these are people that can easily make this happen." Harte stepped down as Star Tribune publisher in Sept. 2009.

  • Jim Romenesko

    From 1999 to 2011, Jim Romenesko maintained the Romenesko page for the Poynter Institute, a Florida-based non-profit school for journalists. Poynter hired him in August of 1999, after seeing his MediaGossip.com, a hobby site he started in May of 1999.
