Facebook referrals increasingly important for growing European newspaper sites

Traffic to European newspaper sites is up 11 percent from June 2010 to June 2011, and comScore says that Facebook is playing a role. "The figures show that in June this year, Facebook accounted for at least 7.4% of traffic to the top five newspaper sites in Europe – almost double what it was a year before," writes The Next Web's Martin Bryant.
