FBI launched three investigations of leaks to columnist Novak in the 80s

Previously secret files reveal that the FBI pursued Robert Novak's sources in columns published in 1983 and 1987. Agents also tried to identify the source of classified information that Novak divulged in 1983 on "The McLaughlin Group" in 1983, reports Joe Stephens.
