Gannett profit down 53% in the third quarter

Gannett made 31 cents a share in the quarter, thanks to cost-cutting, while publishing division ad sales dropped 28% from a year ago. That follows a 32% decline in the second quarter and a 34% decline in the first. || Read the release.
