Google News story pages now include story-related tweets

Google News founder Krishna Bharat pointed that out during a Columbia j-school talk Thursday night. He told the audience that he's "quite excited" about the New York Times' paywall “because it’s a very important and interesting experiment,” but at Google “we don’t really have a point of view one way or the other on paywalls” -- except that, “if you can sustain the publishing industry, it’s a wonderful thing.”

    From 1999 to 2011, Jim Romenesko maintained the Romenesko page for the Poynter Institute, a Florida-based non-profit school for journalists. Poynter hired him in August of 1999, after seeing his MediaGossip.com, a hobby site he started in May of 1999.
