An April 25 Louisville Courier-Journal editorial mentioned Rand Paul‘s belief that private business people should be able to decide whether they want to serve black people, or gays, or any other minority group, but that position didn’t get the attention of the national press until Wednesday. “It was clearly out there” in a major editorial,” says Courier-Journal executive editor Bennie Ivory.
