How journalists can develop digital skills, be more innovative online

In this week's career chat, Miranda Mulligan, the new executive director of the Knight News Innovation Lab at Northwestern University, talked about emerging careers for journalists. Mulligan, who just started her new job this week, previously worked as digital design director at, and was a multimedia presentation artist and a news graphic artist.
