Keller's NYT Magazine column to run 30 times a year

“It’s too early to say what I’ll write about, but it won’t be a media column (at least mostly not), and it won’t be an op-ed column (no unfettered opinion),” Bill Keller tells John Koblin in an e-mail. It was new NYTM editor Hugo Lindgren's idea to have the Times executive editor write a column.

    From 1999 to 2011, Jim Romenesko maintained the Romenesko page for the Poynter Institute, a Florida-based non-profit school for journalists. Poynter hired him in August of 1999, after seeing his MediaGossip.com, a hobby site he started in May of 1999.
