Lachlan Murdoch sells all of his non-voting shares of News Corp.

Rupert Murdoch's oldest son sold 2.3 million Class A News Corp. shares, according to a filing Tuesday with the SEC. Two weeks ago, he also sold 2.3 million Class A shares. At that time, the younger Murdoch's investment firm purchased half of an Australian radio chain for roughly $100 million.

    From 1999 to 2011, Jim Romenesko maintained the Romenesko page for the Poynter Institute, a Florida-based non-profit school for journalists. Poynter hired him in August of 1999, after seeing his MediaGossip.com, a hobby site he started in May of 1999.
