Thrifty-lifestyle magazine “All You” came up with an interesting idea to boost circulation: Invite friendly bloggers to sell magazine subscriptions on commission. Publisher Suzanne Quint explains to Ad Age:

“We have recognized that that’s where the conversations are happening. We have a real fandom amongst many of these bloggers who are interested in talking about All You to their followers. And through a lot of hard work, my team launched this program. It’s another contributor.”

From looking at the featured blogs, it appears the blogs run a display ad linking to a subscription page, and get a referral credit for any subscription sold via their link.
