Mobile a big presence in Super Bowl ads

While my vote for the funniest Super Bowl ad was the Snickers ad featuring Betty White and Abe Vigoda, Motorola's commercial featuring Megan Fox in a bathtub was in the running, as were a whole lot of ads for companies promoting mobile technology.

Motorola is working to get back in the game since its Razr has lost best-selling status. In mobile services, text messaging answering service KGB used a Sumo wrestler to make its pitch. Boost Mobile prepaid cell phone service did an updated Bears Super Bowl shuffle that gave me freaky flashbacks. And speaking of flashbacks, FloTV, a mobile TV service, created three ads, two with a football theme to pitch TV on the move, and one that was a music video mashup with proceeds from the full-length song going to Oxfam's Haiti Earthquake Appeal.
