'Murdoch runs News Corp. like a wholly owned family candy store'

The $675 million deal for News Corp. to buy Shine Group -- majority-owned by Rupert Murdoch's daughter, Elisabeth -- is the most recent example of that, says Allan Sloan. "This deal is a payday of about $300 million for Elisabeth and her trusts, owners of a combined 53.5 percent of Shine's stock."
