Newspapers Association of America CEO John Sturm says of the decision to sit down with Stephen Colbert: “We felt it was worth a certain amount of risk, if you will, to try and do one more thing to make newspapers visible to the younger audience.” So, how did he do? “I tend to be a very aggressive person [when] advocating for the industry. I don’t think that came through. I seemed passive.”
