New York Times Co. CEO Janet Robinson 'is a secret tweeter'

Forbes

Forbes' Jeff Bercovici learned in a recent interview with New York Times Co. CEO Janet Robinson that she's been on Twitter for awhile, but not under her own name. Bercovici writes that Robinson wouldn't disclose her Twitter name. Her rationale: "She uses Twitter for a mixture of business and personal interests, and doesn’t feel the need to have the world at large scrutinizing what she’s tweeting or who she’s following." He writes that it would be "ever so rude to our delightful lunch guest to encourage you, my readers, to scour the Internet and try to figure out what Robinson’s secret Twitter handle it is, so I’m not going to do that. But if you happen to sniff it out, you can email me or leave it in the comments." Let this be a test of crowdsourcing. || Related: New York Times Editor Jill Abramson gets an ‘F’ in Twitter — from her kidsBoston Globe editor joins Twitter; ‘Like it or not, you can’t ignore it,’ he tells other editors
