Lost Remote
A news anchor in Milwaukee is creating quick, informal video newscasts on his iPhone and sharing them on social networks. The videos focus on weather and headlines, with a behind-the-scenes style that seems to be welcomed by some followers. “While I’m hopeful people are watching our local news on TODAY’S TMJ4, I’m trying to reach out to them in the places they already are,” anchor Vince Vitrano told Lost Remote. The videos don’t get a ton of views, he said, but he’s happy with the reaction and interaction.
