NPR ombud: Listeners hear the same thing differently with Middle East stories

Some claim NPR really means National Palestinian Radio, says Alicia Shepard, while others contend that NPR is in Israel's pocket and fails to tell the Palestinian side of the story. NPR editors ask listeners to judge the coverage as a whole, says the ombud, not just on one story or even one day's coverage.
