Ombud: PBS <i>is not</i> working with the George W. Bush Institute on a new series

A viewer writes to PBS: "Really, PBS is going to allow the George W. Bush Institute to produce a television show for you?" Not quite; it's EPS that's distributing the institute's "Ideas for Action" to public television stations. Michael Getler calls this another case of "it's on PBS, but it's not PBS."

    From 1999 to 2011, Jim Romenesko maintained the Romenesko page for the Poynter Institute, a Florida-based non-profit school for journalists. Poynter hired him in August of 1999, after seeing his MediaGossip.com, a hobby site he started in May of 1999.
