Ombud: Salon ethics questions were raised with WP execs months ago

Andrew Alexander examines the Post's ill-fated plan to sell sponsorships of off-the-record salons -- "an ethical lapse of monumental proportions," he calls it. Post execs planning the salon dinners "were all aboard a fast-moving vehicle that, over a period of months, roared through ethics stop signs and plowed into a brick wall," says the ombudsman.
