Rob Grimshaw is leaving The Financial Times, Joe Pompeo reported Thursday for Capital New York.

Grimshaw will be the CEO of TES Global, Pompeo reported.

“Naturally, my feelings are mixed,” he wrote in an email to colleagues. “I love the Financial Times, its people, its journalism and its business. I’ve been here for 16 years and its a hard place to leave. However, we all need new challenges from time to time.”

Grimshaw was the managing director of the Times’ site. According to a release on PRNewsire, Grimshaw will start his new job in November.

Rob has been responsible for the highly acclaimed and hugely impressive digital strategy which gained the Financial Times global recognition for its digital media transformation.
