TV news executive producer saves family from fire

Fox 5 News Executive Producer Amy Oates noticed a burning house in Dacula, Ga., as she went to work. She called 911, "then thought I have to go get this family out," she tells her station. She and another driver "started banging on the doors and windows" and got the people inside outside, where she let them stay in her car until authorities arrived.

Oates also provided the station with a shot of the blaze. "Always the journalist," the caption reads.
