Why did Huffington talk to New York Times Magazine?

New York Times Magazine

As Chris O'Shea notes, the interview gets testy at several points. ("Maybe you should be reading more of [HuffPo's reporters' stories] and clicking less on the boobs," Arianna Huffington tells interviewer Andrew Goldman.) Why did Huffington agree to a Times Magazine interview after Bill Keller attacked HuffPo in the magazine? "Arianna did the interview on March 7, prior to Keller's aggregation piece" was posted March 10, HuffPo spokesman Mario Ruiz tells Romenesko. "And there was a subsequent follow-up discussion with Andrew Goldman after the Keller story ran."
