This week, Poynter welcomes 11 local newspapers and public radio stations to St. Petersburg, Florida, for the third round of Table Stakes.

Poynter’s Table Stakes program is part of the Knight-Lenfest Newsroom Initiative. It is designed to help news organizations learn what they need to do to make the successful transition to sustainable digital publishing and build a culture of performance-driven change.

The second round of Table Stakes wrapped up this spring, with encouraging results to report: See how the Anchorage Daily News went from bankrupt to making money.
