Tom collaborates closely with the External Relations and Foundation teams to help advance our marketing and branding messages in print and online. He has extensive design experience across multiple platforms.

Tom began his career as a photographer and, after several years, moved into the area of color prepress and printing. He was involved in the initial stages of electronic retouching, color correction and page layout. For 18 years, Tom was a design director with Cox Target Media, where he led an in-house creative group of writers, designers, photographers and videographers/editors in the production of award-winning marketing communications.

Tom earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida State University and is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s “Business Perspectives for Creative Leaders” course. He is also certified in direct marketing creative by the Direct Marketing Association.
