Dulce Ramos is a Mexican journalist and Program Manager for the International Fact-Checking Network, for The Poynter Institute. In 2014, when she was the Executive Editor of news site Animal Politico, she led the efforts for the first fact-checking project in Mexico called The Bloodhound. She was also part of the founding team of The New York Times En Español and worked for the investigative journalism unit at the NGO Mexicans Against Corruption and Impunity. Dulce has covered topics such as human rights, government accountability, and immigration. She has a master's degree in journalism from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, a joint program offered with Spanish newspaper El País. Whenever she is not working she enjoys baking and playing with her and her boyfriend's two dogs: Poundcake and Quesadilla.
