A former Presbyterian minister in Westchester County accused of having sexual contact with eight boys and young men said yesterday that some of the allegations had merit, and he apologized for some of his actions.

Jack S. Miller, 58, former pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Mount Kisco, who has been largely silent since the accusations were first aired last week, spoke in an extensive telephone interview from his home in Pound Ridge. He disputed some of the allegations but admitted to others, including sexual contact with at least two boys.

“Two of these people had a legitimate need to talk about their bad experiences with me, although at the time it didn’t seem like a bad experience to anyone,” Mr. Miller said. “I realize now that it was totally inappropriate and wrong, and that I was wrong for participating.”
