DUDLEY— The Rev. Thomas H. Teczar was arrested early yesterday morning on a fugitive from justice warrant from the state of Texas on charges of aggravated assault of a child.
Rev. Teczar, 61, of 52 Mason Road, was arraigned yesterday in Dudley District Court and granted a continuance to Jan. 6 for a hearing on extradition. Bail was set at $30,000 cash. He was being held last night at the Worcester County Jail and House of Correction in West Boylston.
Lt. Michael P. Stevens said Officers Paul Ceppetelli and Anthony DiDonato arrested Rev. Teczar without incident shortly after midnight yesterday at his home.
