PointsSouth is the online publication of The Poynter Institute’s annual summer program for college graduates. For six weeks, the summer participants find stories about the city of St. Petersburg and tell them, using words and images. In daily seminars along the way, they learn about the ethics and practices of journalism from Poynter faculty, award-winning journalism professionals, and one another. Their work appears weekly on this Web site.
