Providence Journal reporter Arthur Gregg Sulzberger — son of the Times publisher — “is not at all a prima donna,” says ProJo veteran Scott MacKay. “He is really about making it on his own and being his own guy. You have to respect that.” Ged Carbone tells Ian Donnis: “Most people don’t have a knack for journalism, they just don’t. So when I first met [the 25-year-old Sulzberger], I assumed he wouldn’t, and I assumed that he would also have a sense of privilege or entitlement. And I was wrong on both counts — because he does have a real knack for the business and he is humble, almost to a fault.”
