Boston Emergency Medical Services synchronized audio from its response to the bombings at the Boston Marathon earlier this year with video shot by’s Steve Silva.

In a blog post, Matt Pepin parses some of the EMS transmissions. At the 3:27 mark on the video, for instance, “‘Tango 1 on scene,’ is heard. This is emergency medical technician Rafael Hernandez, who operates a special operations unit – a bigger truck with mass casualty equipment, [Boston EMS Superintendent Brendan] Kearney explained.”

The Globe posted Silva’s entire unedited video previously, appended with stories from people who were on the scene. Silva was shooting at the finish line when the bombs went off. “I just kept the camera rolling,” he told Maria Menounos in April.
