It’s finally happening: The New York Times redesign arrives next week, the newspaper reports.

Starting today, the Times said in a press release, some readers will see a portion of the new site, which includes responsive design and a less cluttered overall look.

In October, Times employees received access to a preview, shown below:

Earlier, in March, the Times showed off article page prototypes. It last redesigned its website in 2006.

Leslie Kaufman of the Times notes the redesign will enable the company to publish native advertising. Publisher Arthur Sulzberger Jr. said in a December letter to the newsroom that the news organization’s foray into controversial native ads would be “fully consistent with the values of The Times and the expectations of our readers.”
