Journalism is a challenging profession on a good day. Reporters have always been dogged by stodgy sources, ornery editors and late-breaking news. But the obstacles associated with the modern, digitally dominated workload add a heavy burden.

This training session will show journalists how they can use tools to solve small (and big) issues related to workflows, communication, meetings and routines. We’ll talk about how to use specific tools — including, Station, Sortd, Toby and Nudge — as well as practical strategies for implementing them. You’ll walk away with the ability to free up your precious work time to focus on what’s actually important.

You will learn tips and tools to:

  • Improve communication
  • Fix meetings
  • Streamline workflows
  • Create a healthier workweek
  • Get back to the journalism you love

Who should take this course:

Journalists, educators, students and anyone who suffers the burdens of the digital workday.
