I started working as an online editor/producer in 1996 when I put my college's newspaper online. Since then I've written, edited and coded at a variety of technology, entertainment and news sites, including ZDNet/CNET, AOL and the Christian Science Monitor. I teach online journalism and Web production courses and I use my down-time to work on my own Web projects (The Fodder Network chief among them). My main area of interest is independent Web publishing, a topic I cover in-depth on my site The Indiepub Blog.
