Newspapers with premium content on their websites are doing their best to promote it and get new paid subscribers. The Spanish newspaper on economics, Expansión Directo, is trying an original technique on its paper readers. Each print copy has a unique code number that allows its owner to access the paid content part of the site during that day. At midnight the permission expires, so the reader can only access by buying a new copy for that day or, of course, subscribing to the service. This promotion will last until December 28.
