Steve Cyphers calls his twelve-year ESPN reporting gig “the best job in the world,” but he’s happy these days teaching and coaching at a small Catholic school in Colorado. No longer making a six-figure salary, Cyphers and his family have had to make lifestyle adjustments, of course. “I haven’t been on a budget since we were first married, but I’m on a budget now,” says wife Carolyn. “And I have to shop the sales and check coupons. Instead of shopping in 45 minutes, I’m driving across town for three hours.”
