Sports Illustrated’s Rick Reilly wasn’t at home at the time of the slumber party incident and isn’t accused of wrongdoing. Reilly says whatever happened on Dec. 18 took place during a three-hour period when he was out for dinner. Charlie Brennan and Kevin Vaughan write: “He said he thought about his own experience while writing the Hnida column [about former place-kicker Katie Hnida’s rape allegation], but didn’t feel it was appropriate or necessary to share with his readers.”
