John M. Higgins died Monday night of a heart attack in a hospital in New Jersey with his wife at his side. “He was bigger than life,” says Broadcasting & Cable publisher Larry Oliver. “Anyone who met John Higgins always had a story about him.” Executive editor PJ Bednarski adds: “He knew everything and knew everybody.”
