Narda Zacchino, who joined the Chronicle in May 2001 after thirty years at the Los Angeles Times, tells colleagues: “I have loved the spirit of this place, the energy of the staff, the friendships I have made and the good work that has made me proud to be an editor here. I am heading off to finish the book I am co-writing with Mary Tillman about her son, Pat.” || Catherine Bigelow: “I have been invited to accept a ‘voluntary buyout’ offer from The Chronicle.
