Nearly two months after the St. Petersburg Times published serious allegations involving the Church of Scientology and its leaders, ads for the church are appearing on the paper’s website. The Poynter-owned Times doesn’t take Scientology recruitment advertising, says editor Paul Tash, but image advertising is acceptable.
