BarstoolSports.com blogger David Portnoy took down the naked photos of the Patriots quarterback’s son after state troopers visited his home and told him “it would be in the best interest of everybody involved’’ if the images were removed. He tells the Boston Globe: “I’ve never had cops knock on my door for anything in my life. That is not a coincidence that this is one of the first times I’ve taken something down.”
Howard Stern told Portnoy on his Sirius XM radio show Tuesday that posting the photos was kind of seedy,” and added: “I have three daughters and I gotta tell you, Dave, I would never post a picture of a child and comment on their genitals, and I’m known for outrageous commentary.” Portnoy has been a regular guest on Boston sports-talker WEEI, but the station now says he’s no longer welcome.
